Hi and Welcome

This is a subtitle for your new post

Hi and welcome to The Grove ❀️

It’s the start of our busy season here and we are noticing a lot of new followers already and I wanted to jump on and say hello and welcome! I run a small mail order perennial nursery here in Pittsworth Queensland shipping carefully packed plants safely to Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory every Monday and Tuesday via Express Post.

I propagate almost all our stock from our gardens on site, we have one of the largest Salvia collections in Australia. I am working on adding own root roses to our nursery as well as always finding and trialling new perennials that preform well in our garden. We are also expanding our collection of virus tested Dahlia plants, which we supply as live plants from September onwards each year

All our plants are grown outside, there are no greenhouses here protecting plants from the elements making them hardier and more robust plants for you when you receive them in your gardens. However this means plants are sometimes supplied dormant in winter or sometimes with imperfect leaves from wind or sun damage in our hot summers.

We have been shipping plants for well over three years now and we offer an alive on arrival guarantee on all our plants. If there is ever an issue just send us an email with photographic proof, this is so rare that we have only had a small handful of issues in the last year mostly due to rough handling or lost boxes on AusPosts end πŸ™ƒ

I don’t currently offer wholesale at this time and I don’t have a catalog to view it’s all live on our website. We have two open weekends each year, one in October for the Pittsworth Craft and Fine Food Festival and in April for Showcasing Pittsworth outside of those two weekends we are not open to the public and haven’t been since February 2022, I wish I could do it all but I am only one person and the walk in side of the business as much as I love the customers that did support it just wasn’t profitable enough unfortunately compared to what we do online.

We do offer free pick up from the nursery, this is done contactless at our front garden entry. We also offer a cheaper $10 local delivery to Toowoomba, Westbrook, Wyreema, Pittsworth, Southbrook, Highfeilds, Allora and Warwick. For everyone else we have a flat rate $15 shipping rate per order, so if you order 1 or 100 plants our shipping rate stays at $15.

So in closing, welcome! I hope this helps you all understand what and where and who The Grove Country Gardens is and what I am aiming to achieve here! “Becoming better gardeners together”
