Bred by Joseph Rambaux (France, 1875).
Introduced in France by Francis Dubreuil in 1883 as 'Perle d'Or'.
Introduced in United States by Unknown (America) in before 1891 as 'Perle d'Or'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Perle d'Or'.

Apricot, light pink undertones, ages to white . Strong fragrance. Small, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters, reflexed, scalloped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, ovoid buds.
Short, few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy, medium green foliage.
